This the first book of Bev's that I have read.I saved it for a holiday read and it ticked all the boxes for me. It was a great mystery with well described characters. As my young adult son is an aspiring theatre producer and has been involved with acting since the age of 5, the theatre scene was authentic to me. I am looking forward to reading more of Bev's books.On a health and nutrition note, last year I read Dr Steven Gundry's book "Diet Evolution" and both my husband and I have implemented the programme after my husband's major heart operation. I would like to encourage anyone who has a weight problem to read "Diet Evolution" - it works!

Body on the Stage Theatre Mysteries Book 2 eBook Bev Robitai Reviews
This second book in Bev's murder mystery series is a clever mix of theatre, get fit, and crime. The characters you either love or hate and the author leads you down the path she wants you to go before you get to finally make up your mind. There are a few twists and the play on words often leaves you wondering why you hadn't thought of that before. Soft crime - no gory bits - just mystery at its best.
Great read.
Body on the Stage is Bev Robitai's second theatre murder book, and while many of the characters from Murder in the Second Row appear again, you don't need to have read the first book to enjoy this one.
The main character in Body on the Stage is overweight and under-confident Dennis. He joins the backstage crew and is talked into going to the gym with the actors taking part in 'Ladies Night'. He wonders what on earth he is doing there, but life is about to change for the better, in spite of finding the body of one of the gym trainers (anyone who has ever worked out at a gym will have entertained similar thoughts!)
Bev Robitai combines her knowledge and experience in both the theatre and gym world to give an excellent read, and great new characters as well as favourites from her first book.
